Annual Mother Daughter trip to The Golden Triangle of India

David and I took a weekend getaway to Chennai as he wanted to visit the Royal Enfield factory and I just wanted to wander around the saree shops and buy a saree or two. And we met up with our good friends Inderjith and Chamu and their lovely daughter Apparna. We also visited the iconic St Thomas Church in Chennai where the remains of St Thomas More is kept. 

 

Well looks like our Indian visa which we pay 189.00 ringgit fir 6 months came in good use for my trips to India.

Okay I am back with my stories

In January 2015 David and I had a short holiday with his cousin Clement and wife Shantha in Kota Kinabalu Sabah.

In February 2015 my daughter Melissa and I made our annual mother daughter trip to Portugal and Spain. We visited Lisbon and Fatima in Portugal. Toledo Seville Cordoba Granada Madrid and Barcelona in Spain.It was so awesome

In July 2015 I turned 55 and my brother gave me and David a holiday in Redang Island

David and I went to Jogjakarta where David attended a bike meet and I visited Borobudur and Prambanan

October 2015 also saw our daughter getting her Masters Degree

David and I made our maiden journey to Goa India. It is a beautiful place with lovely beaches good food and hundreds of amazing churches.

Since we were not going to be around for Christmas we had an early celebration

Loving India we decided to spend Christmas at the Don Bosco Orphanage in Cochin Kerala and we stayed 7 days to get the first feel of Kerala

It was a good year with God's Abundant Blessings

One amazing awesome trip to the US of A

Another one trip on my bucket list to strike off was to visit America. And the planning began when my cousin Lata in Atlanta told us her daughter Ruma was getting married in July 2014.


I boarded a flight to Los Angeles with Cathay Pacific on the 13th of June 2014. It was a very long flight and got to LA on the morning of 13th June 2014.

Hopped on a Delta flight to Detroit to visit my cousin Lakshmi whom I had not seen for 40 years. She was in tears and I was dazed from a whole day of flying alone 😁

New York is an amazing city

The streets of New York are filled with yellow cabs and sounds of sirens

Times Square which I have only seen on New Year's Eve every year on TV
