A year ago today I started to volunteer at The Assumption Soup Kitchen...where beautiful food is cooked by beautiful people for beautiful people. It serves about 180 packed food to be distributed to the less fortunate at Desa Mentari and about 70 - 80 people eat at The Assumption Family House where the food is cooked and served. I volunteer on Mondays and Wednesdays...where I meet a group of dedicated ladies...some who are cancer survivors....and I feel proud being amongst them to be serving the less fortunate. Being a lady of leisure now after serving The Government of Malaysia for 30 years....I am now very contented with what I am doing and of course in between all that ....travelling. I have to thank my dear husband and children for helping me make this dream of mine come true...to serve God's people with the time He has given me.
