London and The Royal Wedding

Yes I  am  here in London..arrived last night at Heathrow by Qatar Airways after a lovely flight..and was picked by our good friend Simon Suresh in his Lexus and we drove through beautiful scenery with even a glimpse of Windsor Castle at night. And today is a beautiful day...cool weather....and yes the day of the Royal Wedding of William and Catherine...I am blessed to be here on the day a new union begins...a marriage we pray will last. I am visiting London after 16 years and am so glad that I was awaken by the cool weather and Wedding Bells. We are staying with Simon and Marita Suresh and their lovely daughter Simone in a lovely town called Wokingham in the royal county of Berkshire.

Simon and Marie prepared a lovely breakfast of bacon , tortilla , buttered mushrooms , eggs and lovely Vanilla Coffee. So we tucked into it and the boys Simon and David who are not interested in The Wedding have gone out for a drive in Simon's Lexus. And we 3 ladies are seated in the cosy living room and watching the event on television and I could feel every moment of their wedding and their carriage ride to the Palace because I am here and this is happening in the city which is about an hour from here. And I can assure you I feel all the rhythms and sounds of the crowds of the people who are there and feel the euphoria of this historic event.

After watching this beautiful Wedding Simon suggested we go and see a small town called Bucklebury because Kate Middleton is from there. So we went and it was a half hour drive from Wokingham and when we arrived there this town was filled with merry makers celebrating the Wedding because their small town girl is now a Princess. We visited the Church of St Mary the Virgin where the Middletons attend services. The atmosphere was amazing with people all dressed up and walking the streets and partying. It was really great that we visited the hometown of Miss Kate Middleton....now the Princess of Cambridge. This visit made this Royal Wedding Day in London so memorable for me.
