Swindon the factory outlets town

Its another beautiful morning in London and the boys David and Simon wanted to do some bike gear shopping at Swindon a town about an hour from Wokingham. And yours truly tagged along with the thought that I will be bored with the bike shops that they were going to visit, The drive was a pleasant one along the M4 and sights of the yellow rapeseed fields was awesome.

We drove into Swindon and was greeted by so many factory outlets and I was surprised that the boys were actually dropping me of at the main outlet and they were going off to the bike shops. And the outlet was filled with shops of all the high end brands and local British ones. Just my luck there was a Marks and Spencers outlet and I was delighted...so off I went and shopped and shopped...and I was one very happy lady. Well I just spent about two hours there when the boys called to say they were outside and we sat on some benches to have our home packed lunch.

Then we drove home and on the way we picked up Simone from The Holt International School and headed home. Marie made some pasta for dinner and we had a lovely time sharing dinner with our hosts as we did every night that we have been here,

It was a lovely day and a day well spent doing what I do best....shopping.
